I have over ten years experience in the health and wellness industry. I started off in the industry as a personal trainer, and have helped countless clients not only reach their fitness goals but develop a confidence they never knew they had. My passion for fitness began as an outlet for my own personal development and growth. Having gone through my own feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem, I turned to exercise to help boost my confidence by transforming my appearance. Seeing success from achieving my own goals through consistency and hard work, I realized that it was not the physical aspect of exercise I loved the most but how the exercise made me feel. Everyday I trained was a goal accomplished, and I trained almost everyday.

I knew I could easily find an excuse to not exercise, but I knew when I was done, I was incrementally closer to my goal. Although my goal changed with time, and exercise was no longer about how I looked but what I was capable of. I feel in love with the healing power of movement and healthy eating and decided to share that love with others and become health and wellness professional. Throughout my time as a personal trainer, I was fortunate to be able to work with some of the best people in the industry, both as clients and as mentors. I was also fortunate to work with a wide range of clients that taught me how be adaptable and diverse, not only in my training sessions but in my approach to the training. Everyone is motivated differently and everyone responds to different styles of training and different types of encouragement.

I took every opportunity to increase my knowledge and understanding of the human body physically, mentally and energetically. In my youth I was always drawn to eastern philosophy. The connection of mind, body and spirit. I read about the chakra system (energy points that govern the body and development of self) and began researching the link between our energetic self and our physical self. I found myself being drawn to reiki and in 2013, I became fully qualified as a reiki practitioner. I began practicing both reiki and personal training and using my knowledge of both to find correlations in myself and my clients, with their permission. In my never-ending quest for knowledge shortly after I became a certified Fascial Stretch practitioner, and discovered a profound way I could help improve not only my clients training capabilities but their mental health.

The relaxing effects of Fascial Stretch Therapy™ allowed my clients to let go of tension within their bodies, which made space for us to discover where restrictions were hiding and in turn opened up new ranges of motion that complimented their exercise regime and quality of living. With a combination of personal training, reiki and fascial stretch therapy I was given ability to intuitively assess my clients physical and spiritual needs. I found great success with my clients and what I was able to do for them and found myself wanting to be able to help more people. In 2018, I decided to go to school for massage therapy and become a Registered Massage Therapist.

I am currently practicing as an RMT and am always looking for courses that will expand my knowledge, skills and understanding of the human body, mind and spirit. Although I no longer work as a personal trainer, the knowledge I have gained over the years allows me to treat my clients in a dynamic way, understanding movement and training and providing homecare to enhance the healing process. Through out the years, I have been able to take what I have learned to treat my clients in a way that is best suited for their needs. My vision is to provide a platform to help educate clients about their own bodies in a way that is easily understandable and relatable, so that they may be able to heal themselves or understand the bigger picture and help needed along their path of healing. My mission is to help people optimize their health so my clients can optimize their lives.
