My passion for health and fitness began as a desire to be confident in my own skin. However, shortly after a regular exercise routine, I realized that it was not the vanity of physical fitness I loved the most, as originally intended; but rather how the exercise made me feel. Overtime my goals evolved and working out was no longer about how I looked, but what I was capable of. I fell in love with the healing power of movement and healthy eating and decided to share that love with others by becoming a certified personal trainer. The range of clients that I had the honor of working with, taught me to be adaptable and diverse, not only in my training sessions but in my approach to training. I saw and felt how each person was motivated differently and how different styles of coaching and encouragement are important for each individual client’s success.
In 2014, I became a certified Fascial Stretch therapist, which provided a new and profound tool that helped to improve my clients physical and mental states of wellbeing. The relaxing effects of Fascial Stretch Therapy™ allowed my clients to let go of tension within their bodies, which made space for us to discover where restrictions were hiding. These new ranges of motion complimented their exercise regime, decreased chances of injury and improved their quality of life. Together, with a combination of personal training, reiki and Fascial Stretch Therapy™ we were able to address their physical, mental and spiritual needs. In 2018, I became a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). I am currently practicing full-time as an RMT and am always expanding my knowledge base, skills and understanding of the body, mind and spirit.
My vision is to provide a service that addresses the needs of the client while educating them about their own bodies in a way that is understandable and relatable, so that they can apply the tools needed to heal themselves. My mission is to help clients optimize their health so my they can optimize their lives.
